DANVERS (WBZ-AM) -- After State Police K9 Tank helped catch a potentially-armed suspect in her neighborhood, nine-year-old Olivia Feil wanted to show her appreciation.
So, the Silver Hill Elementary School fourth grader saved up her allowance each week to buy Tank a huge pile of toys and treats--and delivered those treats to Troop A in Danvers not long after.
"The Department would like to thank Olivia and her family for their kindness and generosity," Massachusetts State Police wrote in a post on their Facebook page. "We--humans and dogs alike--are touched by their thoughtfulness."
