BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- The numbers are in for the second week of pot sales in Massachusetts.
The state's Cannabis Control Commission said customers spent nearly $2.6 million in the second week of recreational marijuana sales in the Bay State. Friday was the big day, when sales topped $461,000 between the two retail shops that are currently open.
Sales were slightly higher on the very first Friday of pot sales, which was Black Friday.
The total since the two shops--one in Amherst and one in Leicester--opened on November 20? $4.8 million.
