BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- I don't know what it is about NBA players and their need to question science. If you're a Celtics fan, you're already familiar with Kyrie Irving's flat-Earth theory.
Well, 2-time MVP Steph Curry appeared on The Ringer's "Winging It" podcast with Warriors teammate Andre Iguodala, and declared he doesn't believe Americans landed on the Moon in 1969, never mind the other 5 times after. Hoax. Fake news!
NASA responded, inviting Curry and Iguodala to tour the Space Center's Lunar Lab the next time they're in Houston. They can even see moon rocks from the Apollo 11 mission.
Astronaut Scott Kelly tweeted at him.
Keep in mind Curry's new Under Armour sneakers will be released early next month. A little extra attention beforehand may not be a coincidence.
