BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) — As we get closer to Christmas, the demand is skyrocketing for Santa Clauses.
And finding one ain't easy.
"We have an increasing demand for Santas," said Stephen Arnold, President of the International Brotherhood of Bearded Santas, tells WBZ NewsRadio.
That there's been a big increase in demand for Santas at private parties and corporate events. Arnold says a good Santa can make good money, starting at $100-dollars per hour.
"We have Santas that is charging $300, 400 to $500 an hour," he said.
And what makes a good Santa Claus?
"Well the most important thing is you have to have is a heart," Arnold said.
And you have to like kids.
