BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM)--The Weston Observatory reports a magnitude 2.2 earthquake centered in Templeton, Massachusetts at 12:51 p.m. on Friday. The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) says there were no reports of explosions, fires or significant property damage. The local communications centers in surrounding towns received citizen calls reporting shaking and associated loud noises. The United States Geological Survey is asking anyone who felt the earthquake to relate the experience on their website.
