BOSTON (WBZ-AM) — Parkland shooting survivor and gun control advocate David Hogg will attend Harvard University in the fall. Hogg tweeted Saturday he plans to major in political science.
Hogg was a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla. when a gunman opened fire and killed 17 people on Feb. 14.
In the aftermath of the shooting, Hogg along with fellow students organized the March for Our Lives rally in Washington D.C., and other cities across the country.
