BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- The Boston College Eagles meet Boise State today in the First Responders' Bowl in Dallas, Texas. It's just the second time the two schools have met on the gridiron in their history.

Their last time out was also a bowl game. Matt Ryan led the Eagles to victory in the 2005 MPC Computers Bowl.

Ryan went to 256 yards in the game, as BC won it's then-sixth consecutive bowl game, capped by a Ryan Glasper interception with 37 seconds left in regulation.

Since then, Ryan has moved on to become an NFL MVP, and the MPC Computers Bowl no longer exists.

Boston College is 14-12 all time in bowl games.
