BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Thus far in the relatively-young NBA season, when the Celtics have needed a boost, be it on the court or off, they have looked to Kyrie Irving.
And Christmas marked a 40-point night for Irving, who drew inspiration from his family.
"I told my teammates, I came to the locker room, I said, my family's here to watch me play, I've got like, 20-plus people from my family here, so I'm acting up," Irving said. "You guys have no idea, I'm so excited!"
I think I speak for Celtics fans everywhere when I say--get that man's family some season tickets!
