Man With Head Injury Inside Cambridge Park Dies

BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) — A man found unconscious with a major head wound at a Cambridge Park on Wed has died. 

Investigators returned to the scene at Danehy Park where the man was found combing the area for clues.

Police say they got a report at 7 p.m. Wednesday night and took the 60-year-old man to the hospital where he later died. 

The park was closed for hours Wednesday night while police investigated.  They examined a baseball bat found at the scene. At this point, no other details have been  released

New crime scene tape went up in a wooded path at the edge of the park, near the dog park, a popular place for local dog owners.
