BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Marathon bombing survivor Adrianne Haslet is recovering after being hit by a car on Commonwealth Avenue this weekend.
On her Instagram page, Haslet posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed, her neck in a brace. She said she was in a crosswalk and was thrown into the air.
The driver stayed at the scene.
"Thrown into the air and landed, crushing the left side of my body. Yesterday," she wrote on Instagram. "I’m completely broken. More surgery to come."
Haslet lost a leg in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.
