CHELSEA, MA (WBZ-AM) — A local eatery in Chelsea says location and community involvement is how they made been recognized as one of the top places to eat in the county Yelp's Top 100 places to eat in the country.
Ciao Pizza and Pasta of Chelsea, MA ranked 3rd best in the nation by Yelp, crowd-sourced review website, out of the 660,000 eligible restaurants across the country that participated.
For co-owners Edsen Coimbra and Marvin Posada and they say it’s not the first time they’ve received high honors.
Since they've opened their location in 2015, the Italian eatery has earned recognition from Money Magazine and The Food Network.
Posada and Coimbra say that they say that they didn’t expect this much recognition this quickly.
So what’s Coimbra and Posada’s secret to success?
“It’s a little bit of everything, it’s the food, the service, and the place,” Posada said.
Both say they are dedicated to the community and have opened a market and a wine-bar in the same neighborhood.
They plan on launching an upscale lounge and Italian tapas restaurant.
