BOSTON (WBZ-AM) — Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Sen. Ed Markey helped to rally furloughed TSA workers at Boston Logan International Airport Monday.
At the rally, furloughed workers demanded the right to union representation and an end to the government shutdown.
Warren and Markey said that the deal proposed by President Donald Trump was a non-starter.
“We need to open the government,” Warren said at the rally. “There are federal workers who are locked out of their jobs. There are federal workers who are coming to work, keeping us safe, and not getting paid for it. Open the government.”
