BOSTON (WBZ-AM) — The Celtics posted a picture of Al Horford working out in the gym with the caption, “No days off” — a slogan that has been used by New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick.

This came only eight minutes before the Celtics tweeted out that Horford would sit out the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday night for rest.

Horford averaged 15 points and seven rebounds, while shooting 63 percent over his last six games. He posted 16 and 12 in Boston’s fourth straight win Monday.

“I think Al has played really well in this stretch. I think it has coincided with an increase in minutes, which I think has been a good thing for all of us,” Celtics coach Brad Stevens said.

The Cavaliers are 9-39. The Celtics previously beat the Cavaliers in November by 33 points.

The Celtics will play the Cavaliers Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.
