Flash Flooding, Strong Winds, And High Temperatures Expected

BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Following this weekend's storm and bitter cold snap, New England is preparing for a drastic change.

The National Weather Service predicts rain and strong winds will batter Southern New England Tuesday morning through the afternoon, with flooding expected along the coast and in urban areas. The Boston-Providence corridor will experience heavy rains from 3-5pm, impacting the evening commute.

Temperatures will reach near-record highs by midday.
