BOSTON (WBZ-AM) — The older and more experienced Patriots QB Tom Brady gets, the more he wins, the bigger the aura gets.
Several Pats players have been asked recently if they remember the first time they met the future Hall of Famer. Of course they do.
Kyle Van Noy definitely has a memorable story:
"I was super tired that day, 'cause I flew in super late from Detroit, so I think I got in at one that night, and I got in at about 5:30 in the morning.
Time had went on, I had some meetings, but then it was right before the team meeting and I had to run to go to the restroom because I was in meetings for so long.
I'm washing my hands or whatever and Tom comes up and kinda shakes my hand like, "Hi, I'm Tom Brady." And I'm like, "You're an idiot, of course!" Kinda told him, my name's Kyle Van Noy."
Van Noy said interactions like that make Brady different.
"Those little things is why he's where he's at," Van Noy said. "Those little things that people don't pay attention to, those detailed things. That just separates him. He's really good at what he does, he's very detailed. That's what makes him Tom."
A GOAT, on and off the field.
