Mayor Walsh Relieved Olivia Ambrose Is Safe

Olivia Ambrose

BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) —Mayor Marty Walsh tells WBZ NewsRadio says he's relieved that Olivia Ambrose has been found safely by Boston Police.

"I'm very happy for the Ambrose family, and I am glad people's prayers were answered," said Walsh live on WBZ NewsRadio Thursday.

Ambrose disappeared from the City's streets over the weekend — and found safe in a Charlestown apartment.

Meanwhile, her alleged abductor, Victor Pena, appeared in court Wednesday and was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation at Bridgewater State Hospital.

He's due back in court next month.

Investigators still want to find the other man captured on video at one point with both Pena and Ambrose to determine whether he is a suspect or a witness.

Listen to Mayor Walsh speak with WBZ NewsRadio on Ambrose's safe return.
