QUINCY, MA (WBZ-AM) — Authorities in Quincy are asking for the public’s help in the death of a Bridgewater man after he was involved in an apparent assault over the weekend.
Norfolk County District Attorney David Traub’s office said that Christopher W. McCallum, 44, succumbed from his injuries at Boston Medical Center Monday.
Authorities said that around 1:02 a.m. Sunday, officers from Quincy Police responded to a report of large disorder at the Nickerson American Legion Post on Moon Island Road.
Upon arrival, police found McCallum outside — unconscious and bleeding.
The Quincy Police, along with Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to District Attorney Michael Morrissey’s Office, are investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
