FALL RIVER, MA (WBZ-AM) --Fall River police are looking for a would-be bank robber who got cold feet. Officials say the woman walked into the Fall River Municipal Credit Union on Robeson Street and approached a teller Monday afternoon. She then hesitated, asked the teller to give her a minute then went to a counter and wrote a note, which after a minute she ripped up and threw away before leaving.

Bank employees pieced the paper back together. It said "give me the money." They immediately called the authorities and described the nervous customer as being 5 feet, 5 inches tall, white, with a medium build. She was dressed in a black knit beanie, dark aviator sunglasses, black fleece and white sneakers.

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the woman in surveillance images to contact Detective John McDonald of the Fall River Police Department Major Crimes Division at 508-324-2796 or call the TIPS line anonymously at 508-672-8477.
