Framingham State Investigates Racist Graffiti In Dorm

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (AP) — A Massachusetts university is investigating what was described as a "racist scrawl" in a residence hall bathroom.

A Framingham State University spokesman says the message was discovered in the stall of the third-floor women's restroom in Horace Mann Hall and reported to university police at around 10 a.m. Friday.

Campus police believe the vandalism happened between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. that day based on surveillance video.

The spokesman says the graffiti did not include the n-word, but described it as a message aimed at African-Americans.

The message is the latest of several racist incidents at the school over the past several years.
