BOSTON, Mass (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police are investigating after a woman was struck by a car while crossing a street in West Roxbury Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened near Center and Hastings streets around 4 p.m. a worker at a nearby pizza shop tells WBZ-TV the woman was walking with her husband when she was struck.
The driver, who remained on the scene. Told a witness she did not see the woman due to the suns glare.
The man walking with that woman, was not injured.
Police say the driver is cooperating with their investigation and no charges have been filed.
