GRAFTON, Mass (WBZ NewsRadio) — It was a loud bang from Grafton resident Dennis Ditullio’s French doors leading from the basement to his backyard that startled him while he was enjoying his morning coffee on Wednesday.
The source: two bobcats, squaring off right outside his window.
Ditullio ran and grabbed his camera and began snapping away from a discreet distance.
“ I didn't go to the cellar and approach the French doors," he said. " I wanted let them do their thing without being disturbed by me...they didn't even know I was watching them they were too busy in other matters — I think territorial rights ,” he said.
It was -- as the law of the jungle often dictates -- the bigger of the two cats who ultimately claimed Ditullio's yard as their own.
For his part, Ditullio says he has an experience he'll never forget.
