Charges Against Kraft Stirs Soul Searching

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The allegations against Robert Kraft, who has been charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution are causing some to do a bit of soul searching.

Bernadette Brooten is the Myra and Robert Kraft and Jacob Hiatt Professor of Christian studies at Brandeis University.

She's done extensive research on sex trafficking, and tells WBZ NewsRadio that she's disturbed by the allegations against Kraft.

Brooten says the money endowed to her professorship was given to Brandeis many years ago, and her connections to Kraft won't stop her from speaking out against sex trafficking.

WBZ NewsRadio’s Suzanne Sausville (@wbzsausville) reports.
