Police Investigate Daytime Stabbing In Dorchester

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Dorchester are searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed in broad daylight near the Franklin Park Zoo

It happened just after 930 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Columbia road, across from the Franklin Park zoo.

Charles had just come to work Moments before just yards away from where it happened.

"It was like a scene out of a movie or something like that," he said. " You hearing the helicopters come up and you're seeing the crime scene investigation units and that stuff...police all over"

The victim suffered non life threatening injuries. Police aren't saying whether the stabbing was a random or targeted attack. So far no arrests in the case.
