Do Executions Need To Be Painless? The Supreme Court says no. In a 5-4 ruling, the Supreme Court has granted Missouri the right to proceed with execution of Russell Bucklew who was sentenced to death for the 1996 murder of his ex-girlfriend's lover.Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote the majority opinion which rejected the inmate's claim that an alternative method of execution was available that "would significantly reduce his risk of pain." Was this a just decision?

Chick-fil-A Banned Again. The Chick-Fil-A fast-food chain has been dis-invited from opening a location at the Buffalo airport, after being banned from a New Mexico airport two weeks ago. The restaurants owners are evangelical Christians and do not operate on Sundays. Would any the chain be banned if the owners practiced any other religion?
