Widespread Virus Disconnects Lynn Schools From Internet

LYNN, Mass (WBZ NewsRadio) — It's been a frustrating couple weeks for students and teachers in the Lynn Public Schools system.

The district lost internet connectivity after a widespread virus affected school computers nearly three weeks ago.

The problem has been so severe that it prohibited students from taking the MCAS exam online.

So it's back to basics for teachers and students while technology professionals work to resolve the problem.
