Is Congestion Pricing Heading To Boston? New York City is getting ready to become the first U.S. city to implement congestion pricing - a plan aka tax designed to reduce traffic and increase transit funding. The bill already signed into law establishes a toll of around $11 a day to drive into Manhattan. Since Boston recently beat out New York as number one in traffic congestion, in the entire country, how long can it be before congestion prices come to the Hub?

No More Cuban Major League Baseball Players? The Trump administration is moving to end a deal allowing Cuban baseball players to sign contracts directly with the M.L.B. unless they cut ties with their national program before signing. According to the National Security Council “The US does not support actions that would institutionalize a system by which a Cuban government entity garnishes the wages of hard-working athletes who simply seek to live and compete in a free society.” This comes at a time when Cuban refugees are flooding off the Castro controlled island. Is this a good move?
