Ilhan Omar referred to almost three thousand people dying on 9/11 as "some people did something". The video showed comments Omar made last month at a fundraiser for CAIR, a Muslim civil rights group, alongside images of the World Trade Center and Pentagon burning. Was Omar trying to minimize a national tragedy and is Nancy Pelosi down playing those efforts in an attempt to squash nationalist feelings?

Last night on 60 Minutes Nancy Pelosi took a swipe at the influence of progressive members of congress saying the wing of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other progressive freshman Democrats is "like five people." Last week Former President Barack Obama warned Democrats about the dangers of rigid ideological dogmatism, which he said can lead to a "circular firing squad." Have they failed to heed his advice?
