NEEDHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Crews are battling a brush fire off Route 128 in the Needham Flats.
The fire was burning near Great Plain Avenue.
The Westwood Fire Department, assisting Needham in fighting the flames, tweeted out photos of the scene.
The MBTA said the fire was causing delays to Commuter Rail trains on the Needham Line. The trains are now operating at reduced speeds.
The cause was not yet known.
