WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass (WBZ NewsRadio) — The MBTA is investigating after a vehicle was struck at a track crossing on East Street in west Bridgewater early Saturday.
Three people inside the vehicle were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Transit Police tell WBZ Newsradio that the crossing gate was in the down position, when the car apparently tried to go around the gate.
The area on East Street at Wall Street is closed until investigators clear the scene.
