Massachusetts Considering Gender Neutral Ids. The Massachusetts Senate is getting ready to debate a proposal allowing individual to list a gender neutral designation on their driver’s license. The bill provides a choice of listing gender as “X” instead of male or female on licenses, learner’s permits and state identification cards. Is this a good idea?

An Elephant never forgets, especially bad treatment. An appeals court in Connecticut is set to an elephants rights case. Animal activists called the "Non-Human Rights Group" are trying to free three elephants from a petting zoo by winning them the rights of ‘‘personhood.’’ Whose side are you on?

American Soldiers are disarmed on our own soil. According to the Defense Department, Mexican troops disarmed two U.S. soldiers while they were on the American side of the border. U.S. Northern Command says "five to six Mexican military personnel questioned two U.S. Army soldiers who were conducting border support operation in an unmarked Customs and Border Protection vehicle near Clint, Texas. Then the Americans obliged "in an attempt to de-escalate a potential volatile situation." Is it time to close the border?
