Police: Man Wanted In NH Murder Investigation

CONCORD, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Authorities in New Hampshire are looking for a "person of interest" related to the murder of a man.

The New Hampshire Attorney General’s office said that New Hampshire State Police and Laconia Police are looking for Hassan Sapry, 21, in their investigation of the death of Wilfred Guzman.

They have described Sapry as "dangerous."

“Sapry was last seen in the area of Pleasant Street in Laconia on Tuesday afternoon and is believed to be on foot,” Attorney General Gordon MacDonald said. “Sapry is considered to be dangerous and should not be approached.”

According to MacDonald, 57-year old Guzman, Sr. was found dead inside his Laconia residence on April 19.

An autopsy by the state’s office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that the cause of Guzman’s death was homicide by blunt and sharp force injury to the head.

Anyone with information is asked to call New Hampshire State Police at (603) 223-4381.
