Danvers Police Searching For Bank Robber

DANVERS, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Danvers Police are looking for a man they said robbed a People’s United Bank Thursday afternoon.

Police said the man walked into the bank located at 3 Federal and demanded money.

He did not show a weapon they said.

According to The Salem News the suspect ran off but was spotted entering an older model, faded gray two-door vehicle believed to be a Honda.

Authorities did not specify how much money, if any was taken.

Danvers Police describe the suspect as a heavy-set Hispanic male, 30 – 40 years old,approximately 5 feet 6 or 7 inches tall, wearing a grey hoodie, blue beanie hat and black wig.
