Two Tufts University Students Assaulted In Separate Occasions

MEDFORD, Mass.(WBZ NewsRadio)— The community of Tufts University in Medford is on alert after two students were assaulted near the campus.

One student says she was assaulted Tuesday night.

It happened just after 8 p.m. on Adams Street when the victim says someone approached her from behind and grabbed her around the waist she managed to get away and was 'not' hurt.

The victim describes her attacker as a white man wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

A search of the area has turned up nothing so far.

According to WBZ-TV authorities say a similar incident occurred on May 7.It’s unclear if the two incidents are connected.
