New Biometric Service To Skip Lines Introduced At Logan

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Logan Airport is debuting some new tech aimed at getting passengers through security faster.

Clear is a program being offered at Logan's terminal A. It confirms passengers identity by scanning your eyes and fingerprints taking away the first step of standing in line to get a boarding pass canned and your ID or passport checked.

Members of this program still need to go through the TSA screening process. The annual membership will cost you $179 dollars. signing up takes about 5 mins but those 5 mins are supposed to save you even more time in the future.

Logan becomes the 29th airport in the nation to offer the service.
