BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The man who was wanted for three armed robberies in the North End has been arrested.
Dante Mirabella, 53, of Boston, was arrested near Charter Street and Jackson Avenue late Friday night. Police said he matched the description of the suspect in the robberies.
Police also observed Mirabella making hand-to-hand drug transactions before they took him into custody. According to authorities, he also had a loaded gun.
Mirabella is now facing multiple charges including firearm charges and three counts of armed robbery. He is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
