Grandfather Draws Own Crosswalk With Chalk After Road Is Paved

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Tired of waiting for the city to paint crosswalks, a Roxbury grandfather took matters into his own hands.

The city just paved Dubois Street in Roxbury but hasn't gotten around to painting the crosswalks.

So a local grandfather "chalked" a crosswalk because there are children who go to school and a playground right across the street.

WBZ NewsRadio's Carl Stevens (@CarlWBZ) reports.
