BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Officials with John Hancock said that that an investigation is underway after an employee discovered an abandoned mobile monitor, connected to a live-feed of the women's locker room at the gym in their previous headquarter building on Congress Street..
In a statement, the company said they are "shocked and disappointed to learn about this serious invasion of privacy.”
They said that the monitor was a live connection and that there were no recordings associated with the monitor — only a live feed.
John Hancock also said, they have checked their other company facilities in Boston, New Hampshire and Ontario and nothing was found.
Massachusetts State Police said they are investigating.
