BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Boston Bruins are still alive. The Bruins defeated the St. Louis Blues 5-1 late Sunday night in St. Louis to stave off elimination and even the best of seven series at three games apiece. 

It was a balanced attack from the Bruins who sent a message to the Blues they scored first during right at the start of the game.

Brad Marchand put the Bruins ahead with a power-play goal 8:40 into the game before collecting an assist during Boston’s four-goal in the third period. Tuukka Rask stopped 28 shots and David Pastrnak also had a goal and an assist for the Bruins.

The teams will now play one final game to decide the winner of the 2019 Stanley Cup on Wednesday night at the TD Garden.
