BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Former Red Sox slugger David Ortiz is reportedly out of the intensive care unit at Massachusetts General Hospital.
According to a statement from Ortiz's wife, Tiffany, he "remains in good condition and continues to recover under the care of Drs. David King and Larry Ronan."
Ortiz was shot earlier this month while he was in the Dominican Republic. The shooting is currently under investigation. Nearly a dozen people have been arrested so far.
