Judge Joseph Gets Paid. The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court has revised it's order stripping Newton District Court Judge Shelley Joseph of her pay and benefits, allowing the judge to return to the payroll while awaiting her obstruction of justice trial after she allegedly helped an illegal immigrant escape ICE custody.Her lawyers had argued that the decision to suspend her pay undermined the presumption of innocence. Did the SJC do the right thing?

The Washington Post Gives Sen. Elizabeth Warren Four Pinnochios!The Washington Post Fact-Checker gave its harshest rating of Four Pinocchios to a pair of Democratic presidential candidates who claimed black teenager Michael Brown was murdered in 2014 by a white policeman. Massachusetts' own Sen. Elizabeth Warren was one, and California's Kamala Harris was the other. What would you like to say to the two U.S. senators and presidential candidates who have willfully ignored the Justice Department's findings and furthered an incendiary false narrative that Brown died with his hands up begging police "Hands Up, Don't Shoot."

The Immigration Laws, They Are A Changing.... The Trump administration has released new regulations that may dramatically cut the number of legal immigrants allowed to enter and stay in the US. The new laws allow rejection of green cards and visas if the applicants have low incomes, little education and have used Medicaid, food stamps, or housing vouchers. Acting US Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Ken Cuccinelli says this will encourage "self-reliance and self-sufficiency for those seeking to come to or stay in the United States.
