MANCHESTER, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Officials are investigating after the accused gunman in the shooting at a church in Pelham, N.H. allegedly attacked his own attorney at a jail in Manchester on Monday.

Dale Holloway was arrested earlier this month after two people were shot during a wedding ceremony at the church.

A source told WBZ NewsRadio that the public defender is hurt, but is not clear how badly.

The New Hampshire public defender's office did not provide comment on the incident, citing attorney-client confidentiality.

An evidentiary for Holloway, originally scheduled for Tuesday in Hillsborough Superior Court, has been cancelled.

According to court documents, the "evidentiary bail hearing will be rescheduled upon request of defendant's newly appointed counsel."
