Drone Spotted Near Logan Airport, FAA Investigating

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating a drone sighting near Logan Airport Sunday afternoon.

A Jet Blue flight spotted the flying device around 6 p.m. on it's approach to land, about two miles Southeast of the airport.

Drones are banned in the airspace around the airport for safety reasons.

The FAA has notified State Police who are investigating the incident as well.
