1 Dead After Two Pedestrians Struck In Seekonk

SEEKONK, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Seekonk Police are investigating after a two pedestrians were struck by a car, leaving one of them dead.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday on Oakhill Avenue, near Central Avenue.

Both of the pedestrians were men. One was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The other male pedestrian declined to be taken to a hospital, but later got his own medical treatment.

Police say the driver of the car is cooperating with authorities, and no charges have been filed.
