BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police are investigating a shooting in East Boston early Friday morning.
Shots were fired outside the Medallo Bar on Chelsea Street around 2 a.m. as the bar was closing.
No one was injured during the incident. Police have yet to identify a suspect.
Part of Chelsea Street was closed Friday, but has since reopened.
This is the second time this year the street outside the bar became a closed off crime scene. A deadly stabbing happened at the bar back in February. Victim Alfred Rodriguez Nunez died from his injuries several days after that incident.
