PLAINVILLE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Massachusetts State Police are investigating after a woman exited a moving car on Route 495 in Plainville early Sunday morning.
The incident happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. Police believe the 26-year-old Taunton resident got of the car through the passenger window.
She was found in the roadway with serious injuries, and was taken to a nearby hospital. She is expected to be okay, according to authorities.
Troopers found the driver of the car, identified as Joseph Monsini, of Taunton, was under the influence of alcohol at the time. He was then taken into police custody.
