BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Boston police officer was injured after being hit by an SUV on the Charlestown-Everett border early Wednesday morning.
The officer was helping a car that had broken down on Alford Street around 12:30 a.m. The driver of the SUV then struck his police cruiser.
The officer suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
The SUV's driver was also taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
