RAYNHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Raynham say they arrested two suspects Friday evening in connection to a home invasion that happened on New Year's Day.

Suspects Jessica Toomey and Derek Martin, both Fall River residents, are facing multiple charges including armed home invasion and witness intimidation.

A man said two people had entered his home around 2 p.m. on Jan. 1 and assaulted and robbed him at gunpoint, taking cash and a cell phone.

The witness also accused the male suspect of pistol whipping him, which injured his face. Police say he did suffer from facial lacerations, but declined medical treatment.

The two suspects are set to be arraigned on Monday in Taunton District Court.
