BROCKTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — First responders were on scene on the south side of Brockton at around 1:25 A.M. on Sunday, after two men died in a fatal car crash.
Brockton Fire Deputy Chief Kevin Galligan confirmed that one man was trapped inside the vehicle and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second man had been ejected from the mangled car, he was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The crash happened at 2000 Main Street, near the Domino's Pizza. Police report that the Infiniti car was left wrapped around a tree.
Officers were seen consoling witnesses at the scene as they draped a white sheet over the wreckage and attempted to extricate the man who died while trapped inside.
Massachusetts State Police are still investigating the cause of the crash. The victims' identities have not been released at this time.
