BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Super Bowl LIV in Miami will feature the....Chiefs and Niners.
Sorry Patriots fans, it sort of feels like a no win situation, doesn't it?
I mean sure, it should be a great game and there are plenty of like-able players on both sides, but Kansas City has been New England's nemesis in recent years and Jimmy Garoppolo is San Francisco's quarterback.
Most Pats' fans wish him well. Heck, I ran a twitter poll and it came up with 1500 votes at last check, 75 percent of you are pulling for Garoppolo - but are you really read to see him win a championship this soon after the Patriots traded him?
Brady was asked on Westwood One if he's pulling for the Niners since he's from the Bay Area.
"I love watching Jimmy play, he's doing a great job for them," the QB said, "I got a lot of family and friends there, I can't really consider myself a fan of any team at this point anymore but i definitely have some affiliations that I cheer for."
Super Bowl LIV kicks off Sunday, February 2nd at 6:30 on FOX.
