BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Walt Disney is officially in town!

Tory's Jewelry in Marblehead said it will be one of several stores closing on Wednesday in order to accommodate Disney film crews, who will be in Marblehead to film a new movie.

The film entitled "Frills" is a Disney+ original. It is reportedly a prequel for the classic "Cinderella." and is slated to air on the company's new streaming service later this year.

According to Tory's Jewelry on Washington Street, Marblehead has been selected to portray a ski town in the new movie. They'll even have Christmas lights back up until Thursday to make it convincing. Tory's said it has been transformed into a hotel and bar for the film.

Marblehead has been the site of several other movie sets, including Adam Sandler's Hubie Halloween, Grown Ups, and Ted starring Mark Wahlberg.

Filming for "Frills" will continue through March, and it will even feature the insides of some local businesses including Harborlight Inn on Washington Street, and The Landing on Front Street.
